MachuPicchu - Tourist Train & The Sacred Valley

Tour begins: In the morning at the scheduled time we’ll pick you up from the Hotel in our private transportation, In the morning at the scheduled time we’ll pick you up from the Hotel in our private transportation, after 40 minutes of bus drive with direction to the Sacred Valley, we will arrive to the fertile plain of Chinchero full of farming fields & beautiful landscapes, at Chincheros we will stop to see the locals weaving centers and the Inca ruins; after to enjoy all the scenic views of the area we will continue our drive to the town of Maras, which has nice colonial doorways made of stone, unique around Cusco region, a while after we leave Maras will arrive to the Inca ruins of Moray called “the Inca laboratory”. The guide will transmit us all the history of this wonderful place, we will walk around to have the complete idea of this impressive place. We then drive to the Salt mines with beautiful views of Urubamba Mountain range and passing by many farming fields we will arrive to the salt pans of Salineras, where we will be able to observe the fascinating salt mine own by the locals, with more than 3000 pools still in production, since many centuries ago. We will have a short drive to Urubamba for lunch. In the afternoon, we will visit Ollantaytambo. After your visit of this incredible archaeological complex you will have time to visit the village but remember that you must be in the train station in Ollantaytambo 30 minutes before the departure of your train (the availability and timing of the trains are subject to change so please be there on time). We will use as reference the train leaving from Ollantaytambo to Aguas Calientes at 16:36 and arriving in Aguas Calientes TOWN. There will be a person waiting for you here to take you to your Hotel where the guide will visit you and give a brief explanation of the next day’s tour of Machu Picchu.
